Basketry legging, made of fine twill strips of cane, lower half uncoloured on both sides, top half with strips dyed red on one side, and woven with yellow orchid stem strips to form large zig-zag pattern, with four small circles and a vertical line in centre and a vertical line topped by horizontal lines on each side. Three single strip lines of red cane between the top and bottom halves. Slit up the back three-quarters of the length, the edges bound over a reinforcing cane strip on each side which project out of the top of the legging.
