Taxidermy case of two adult male and one adult female Firecrest. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult male. Shot by G. Dory at Iford, Christchurch, October 24th 1887; top right (no 2): adult female, November 27th 1884; bottom middle (no 3): adult male, December 27th 1884. Nos 2 and 3 were given to me by a school boy, A. Le Jeune, who shot them with a catapult at Stoney Lane, Christchurch. Sexes differ, summer and winter plumage the same. Mounted by me'.
