Taxidermy case of two adult male, one immature male and two adult female Spotted Redshank (one adult male missing). According to Edward Hart, writing on 30 April 1927, 'Top left (no 1): immature male, October 17th 1888; bottom left (no 2): adult male, September 1877, winter plumage; middle (no 3): adult female, December 1880, winter plumage; top right (no 4): adult female, June 1st 1871, summer plumage; bottom right (no 5): adult male, summer plumage, June 1st 1871. Shot by me on mudflats, Christchurch Harbour'. Sexes alike. Summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by me.
