Tenor treble edeophone. English system. Serial number 49234. Inset engraved metal scroll: 'The Edeophone, Lachenal & Co, London WC.' 7" diameter twelve sided raised ebony ends, fully fretted, bevelled. No straps or metals. 56 keys + 2 levers: 28 + 1 lever left hand, domed glass buttons, bushed, air leavers are 'bowing valves', one works in press, one on draw. Five-fold black leather bellows, god stamped 'RD 129662' - the registered design number of the twelve-sided shape. Round end steel reeds.
