On Fri 31 March, the Butterfly House, Animal Walk, Bandstand Terrace, and Horniman Drive gates and path will be closed for resurfacing works. Blue Badge parking is closed. Please follow signs on site.
We strongly advise visitors to book tickets in advance to avoid queuing, due to reduced till points at the Ticket Desk.
Top made from end of coconut shell, sliced off to form shallow bowl. This is pierced in the centre and a short, cylindrical wooden peg inserted. The inner face (which is uppermost when spinning) is carved with a zigzag and circular pattern, and painted red, yellow and white.
