Part of a carved wooden archway, made from teak wood. A wooden panel, roughly shaped like a right angled triangle with the right angle on the top left. It has a scalloped curve cut from the long edge, and a flat section to the left of this. It is intricately carved on both sides. On the front it is carved with a heavenly being in the top left corner and a makara on the top right, both are surrounded by swirling clouds. The back is carved with an interlocking flower and leaf design. The top edge is marked ‘XLI’ (this slots into part 5) the left side ‘XLVII’ (this slots into part 2) and the flat bottom edge ‘LI’ (this slots into part 8). A label attached to the object reads ‘Front 8’ and ‘LX3’ is written on tape stuck to the object.
